Bilingual Medical Assistant – Jacksonville, FL (Onsite)

• Monday & Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every Other Saturday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Actalent Health & Medical is seeking experienced Medical Assistants for permanent, onsite opportunities in the Jacksonville area. This role supports a fast‑paced specialty care environment and requires strong clinical and patient‑support skills.

• Perform laboratory testing procedures and report results to the overseeing healthcare clinician.
• Alert clinicians promptly of any critical or out‑of‑range values and document all critical reports.
• Conduct phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
• Prepare specimens for reference lab send‑outs, ensuring accurate labeling, resulting, and billing details.
• Complete and document daily/weekly/monthly quality control tasks, including instrument cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform and record patient intake vitals such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate; report abnormalities to the clinician.
• Interview patients according to age and specialty requirements and maintain accurate, updated medical records.
• Retrieve relevant medical documentation such as consultation notes, hospital discharge records, and diagnostic/lab results for clinician review and follow‑up.

• Medical Assistant diploma or certification required (certification preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in a specialty care office.
• 2+ years of direct patient care experience.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese highly desired (not required).
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient‑care skills.
• Ability to work onsite and commit to the full schedule listed above.

This is a Permanent position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $34000.00 - $45000.00/yr.
