Duration - 03 months contract position
Shift- 8 am - 5 pm Mon to Fri
Job Description:
Summary:
Provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting.
Work Environment: Open workstation and clinical area
Dress Code: Scrubs, preferably Navy Blue
Computer Software: Health Management System (HMS), Microsoft Office
Educational Requirements: Must have Medical Assistant Certification
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Phlebotomy skills as well as administering IM and Subcutaneous injections
- Ability to administer and read accurate blood pressure testing
- Interviewing patients and obtain a complete medical history
- Ability to keep accurate records
- Distribute prescribed medications
- Effective communication skills
