Baptist is looking to add a Certified Medical Assistant II to our Age Well team.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Age Well Department is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support their team. Age Well services patients 65+ and is growing rapidly at Baptist! This position requires a candidate to have their Medical Assistant Certification as well as strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and flexibility.

Eligible for up to a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus*

• Performing phlebotomy procedures
• Providing nursing assistance to physician
• Obtaining vital signs
• Greeting and chaperoning patients during medical visit
• Telephone triage and patient education
• Maintaining medical documentation
• Scheduling care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician
• Processing CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals
• Cross training in front office, referrals area, and other areas

High School Diploma/GED

Associate's Degree

• Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
