We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Counselor to provide group-based mental health services in Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) and office settings. This role supports individuals with mental health and substance use challenges in developing social, emotional, and independent living skills.
What You’ll Do- Facilitate structured psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR) group sessions.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Monitor client progress and document services within 48 hours.
- Support clients in building coping, communication, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, ALF providers, and community partners.
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Nursing, or related field.
- No clinical license required.
- Experience in mental health or substance use services preferred.
- Strong group facilitation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to ALFs and work in residential environments.
- Services provided primarily in group settings.
- May involve travel to community or residential facilities.
- Must be comfortable working in typical ALF environments.
