Overview

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Pediatric Ultrasound Department at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a PRN position with various shifts.

Location

Wolfson Children's Hospital, 800 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207

• Performing high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Promoting good will among co-workers and other departments and maintaining a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Staying compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state/federal regulations or institutional policy.

  Vocational School
• Education Preferred
  :
  Associate s Degree
• Experience
  :
• 1-2 years of experience working in a hospital setting
• 1-2 years of hospital-based department-specific experience
• Ultrasound experience
• Experience with vascular ultrasound
• Customer service experience

• License and Certification
  :
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required OR
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Required OR
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred OR
• Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred
