Overview
Under the direction of the Department Director, the Business Manager is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day business operations including budget and complex data system analysis to support both operational and financial initiatives. The Business Manager collaborates with department leaders in planning, operating and organizing the capital and operating budgets and related financial activities for all divisions and cost centers reporting to the Department Director and Department Chair.
The Business Manager recommends and implements actions to improve business and department performance. Provides management oversight of non‑clinical support staff as assigned. This position will collaborate with internal and external leaders to improve operational performance inclusive of patient access, patient experience, clinic/OR utilization, and other key operational performance metrics.
- 5 years – healthcare industry experience with Bachelor's Degree – required
- 2 years – healthcare industry experience with Master's Degree required
- 1 year – post‑graduate Healthcare Administrative Residency/Fellowship – required
- Bachelors – Health Administration, Business Administration and/or Allied Health – required
- Masters – Health Administration, Business Administration and/or Allied Health – preferred
- 5–8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree will be considered
- Travel:
Up to 50% - Supervises: 1‑100 – All staff who work in the clinic offices
