Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Sterile Processing Manager to join the Surgical Services Main OR Team at Baptist South. This is a Full-time Days position, however the schedule can be flexible as this role requires the day-to-day supervision of activities in the Prep & Sterile Department for a 24-hour operation.

A Sterile Processing Manager in this role will work to ensure all stations are attended to, collaborate with the OR manager, and hold touchpoints with vendor representatives throughout the day. The individual in this role will have various team member interactions on a daily basis.

• Coordinating all processes to support the needs of numerous customers, including all instrumentation activities
• Ensuring that policies and procedures comply with all accrediting, recommending, and regulatory agencies
• Actively participating in the hiring, counseling, and performance reviews of all staff
• Monitoring and participating in the budget process, which includes expense activity, revenue, and interpretation of statistical data
• Working in staff role if the situation requires
• Holding a currently active CRCST or CSPDT

High School Diploma/GED

Associate's Degree

• 3-5 Years Healthcare Management Experience
• 3-5 Years Experience in prep and sterile

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Required
