Job SummaryCypress Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused Healthcare Liaison to join our team! The Nurse Liaison is responsible for the recruitment and assessment of potential residents for the Health Center. The Nurse Liaison manages the Health Center admissions process and maintains relationships with physicians, discharge planners, and other care providers as well as prospective residents/guests and their families. Complies with all federal, state and local regulations including corporate compliance, HIPAA Privacy Standards and Fair Housing Act.

- Develops positive relationships with the discharge planners, physicians and families.
- Responsible for meeting the heath center’s sales and occupancy levels in accordance with the strategic marketing plan. Results will be achieved through strategic networking with area professionals, including but not limited to: presentations at the community and the surrounding community at-large, health center tours, follow-up telephone calls and appointments to keep the professionals informed.
- Manages the health center’s public relations to include health fairs, screenings, center education programs (CEU’s), and outreach.
- Participate in local organizations identified as bringing value, by making presentations and joining as a member where appropriate, in order to facilitate a broader knowledge of the industry and of the health care center’s capabilities.
- Minimum of associate's degree in nursing, physical, occupational or speech therapy, or other health related field required.
- Licensed where applicable.
- Good working knowledge of Medicare Part A, certification procedures, and medical terminology.
- 1+ year of SW / LPN / RN experience, preferably in LTC.
- Able to work flexible hours.
- Familiar with federal and state regulations and requirements for LTC.
