Bilingual Medical Assistant

BILINGUAL Medical Assistant | Clermont, FL | $19-$22/hour | Temp-Perm

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced clinical setting. This is a safety-sensitive role responsible for both administrative and clinical support, reporting directly to the Office Manager.

• Greet and prepare patients for provider exams, collecting detailed history and vitals
• Document all information accurately in the EMR system
• Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Administer medications (oral and injectable) and assist with in-office procedures
• Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., EKG, pulse oximetry, peak flow, inhalation treatments)
• Draw blood and process lab specimens for in-office or send-out labs
• Maintain sterilization and cleanliness of instruments and exam rooms
• Handle front desk operations: answering phones, appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out
• Provide patient education as instructed by the provider
• Assist with medication management, referrals, and care coordination
• Monitor and order medical supplies, office medications, and inventory
• Support onboarding and training of new team members
• Participate in phone-based outreach (medication & appointment reminders, transitional care calls)
• Assist in maintaining patient medical records in compliance with policies and regulations

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited MA program
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant Basic knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and medical coding
• Phlebotomy and IV start experience preferred
• Strong computer skills; experience with EMR systems
• Current CPR certification preferred
