Baptist Medical Center is hiring for a New Patient Coordinator for the Behavioral Health Department located at Baptist Medical Center. This is a PRN day shift opportunity working an 8:00am-5:00pm schedule in Jacksonville, FL.
The New Patient Coordinator will assist the Behavioral Health Department by accurately registering new patient and preforming other clerical duties. This position requires an intermediate level knowledge of insurance, medical records, multi-line telephone, excellent customer service skills, ability to match patient care needs with services available, and good judgment triaging patients with acute needs over the phone.

New Patient Coordinator,Job Responsibilities:
Providing business services for patients and the healthcare system.
Ensuring accurate patient registration.
Verifying insurance and authorizations.
Collecting patient charges and payments.
Operating a multi-line phone system while maintaining telephone protocols.
Assisting patients as needed.
Experience Requirements:1-2 years Medical Experience
