Sterile Processing Technician, Evenings, Baptist South

Baptist Medical Center is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department at Baptist South
. This position is a Full-Time Evenings opportunity.

• Understand principles of sterilization.
• Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization.
• Able to prioritize duties.
• Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform
• Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays

• 1-2 years Instrument Experience
• 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience
• Knowledge of regulatory protocols.

• High School Diploma
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Required Or
• Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required Or

This Sterile Processing Technician position will be located at Baptist Medical Center South.

• Experience in a prep and sterile area
