Baptist Health is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our Anatomic Pathology department at Baptist Medical Center. This is a PRN opportunity working various shifts, Monday
- Friday.

The Collection and Accessioning department is the section of the laboratory where specimens are received, sorted, entered into the Laboratory Information System, labelled with barcoded labels and processed.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for:

Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.

Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.

Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.

Utilizing computer functions.

Experience Requirements:

Less than 1 year Phlebotomy Experience Specimen Processing Experience Education & Credential Requirements:
