You will practice in a collaborative rehabilitation facility where teamwork and patient-centered care are at the forefront of our mission. Our Jacksonville location is designed for a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and ample resources to assist in your clinical practice. The typical work schedule will run Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions through observation of movements and behaviors to diagnose dysfunction effectively.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain and restoring mobility.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as therapeutic exercises, hands-on therapy, and advanced equipment, to facilitate recovery.
- Instruct patients on proper technique for exercises and use of equipment, ensuring they are comfortable and empowered in their rehabilitation.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment programs in response to individual advancements or setbacks.
- Educate patients and their families about recovery expectations and in-home treatments, providing tools to handle challenges post-therapy.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to enhance patient outcomes.
You will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic challenges, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and joint issues. Your role is critical in helping these individuals regain functionality and improve their quality of life while fostering an environment of trust and support.
Qualifications- An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is mandatory.
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills to identify and address movement dysfunction.
- Excellent communication abilities to convey treatment plans to patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic practices and rehabilitation methodologies.
- A track record of developing successful treatment plans that align with patient goals and recovery timelines.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to financial compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
