Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for an experienced Critical Care Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Medical Center Downtown. This is a full time, night shift opportunity working in Critical Care units. This is a 7-on/7-off shift, working 8:30 pm – 7:00 am. This Pharmacist will be verifying orders for the adult ED and four adult ICUs. This Pharmacist will have the autonomy to work independently within a small team.
This candidate must have experience in an inpatient, clinical environment as a Pharmacist . A completed PGY1 residency and Emergency Department / Intensive Care experience is highly preferred.
- Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for critically ill and emergency department patients during overnight hours.
- Review, verify, and optimize medication orders to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based pharmacotherapy.
- Participate in emergency response situations, including code blue, rapid response, trauma, stroke, and sepsis activations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust patient-specific treatment plans.
