BaptistHealth is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit.
This Health Unit Coordinator role is a Full-Time Evenings opportunity with shifts of Monday-Friday 2:45pm-11:15pm. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.
Additional Responsibilities Include- Answering call lights and phone calls promptly
- Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment
- Maintaining patient chart folders
- Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles
- Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- None
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Associate's Degree Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
This Health Unit Coordinator will be located at Baptist Medical Center South.
