Baptist Medical Center is looking for a Pediatric Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department at Wolfson Surgery Center. This position is a Full-Time, Evenings position working Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 7:30pm.

As a Sterile Processing Tech, your responsibilities include:

Understand principles of sterilization.

Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization.

Able to prioritize duties.

Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform

Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays

Experience Requirements:1-2 years Instrument Experience1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience Linen Processing Experience Knowledge of regulatory protocols.

Education & Credential Requirements:

High School Diploma Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Required Or Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required OrThis Sterile Processing Technician position will be located in the Wolfson Surgery Center.
