* Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for our Ultrasound Department at Baptist ED Oakleaf in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Part-Time Days opportunity working Thursday and Friday 6:30am-7:00pm. Call and holiday rotation required.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Responsibilities:

Performs high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures

Promotes goodwill among coworkers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients

Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements

Experience Requirements:1-2 Years Experience Working in a Hospital Setting1-2 Years Hospital-based department-specific work experience1-2 Years Ultrasound Experience1-2 Years Customer Service Experience Education & Credential Requirements:

Vocational School Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) - ARDMS Preferred Registered Radiologic Technologist- ARRT Preferred Registered Technologist in Sonography - ARRT Preferred Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - CCI – Cardiovascular Preferred Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - ARDMS Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS)-AHA Required If hired, must obtain certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) and RVT or ARRT(VS) or RVS within 12 months of hire.
