Baptist Health is hiring a Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team at Baptist MD Anderson in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day shift opportunity.

Medical Physicist

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborating with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Dosimetrists to design complex radiation therapy plans

Performing initial and ongoing weekly reviews of patient treatment charts, beam calibration calculations, and computer treatment plans

Direct clinical involvement during high precision or specialized radiation treatments (HDR, brachytherapy, SRS)
Performing daily, monthly, and annual quality control calibrations on linear accelerators and CT simulators.

Ensuring facility operations adhere to Florida Administrative Code for control of radiation and Florida DoH standards.
