Front Office Supervisor (Hotel Experience Required)

We are hiring a Front Office Supervisor to lead the front desk team, ensuring an outstanding experience for guests and maintaining brand and company standards. This role requires proactive, responsive, and caring leadership skills.
Responsibilities- Must have open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Overnights may be needed according to business demands and staffing.
- Supervise daily front desk operations across AM, PM, and overnight shifts.
- Be on call and cover shifts as needed due to call‑outs or operational needs.
- Support and train front desk agents on check‑in/check‑out procedures, billing accuracy, and guest recovery.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Handle escalated guest concerns and perform service recovery when management is not on site.
- Review reservation accuracy, room moves, rate integrity, and proper documentation; balance the house.
- Monitor attendance and communicate between shifts.
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
- Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
- Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures.
- Develop thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies.
- Take reservation requests efficiently.
- Answer switchboard in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette.
- Block rooms and handle special requests.
- Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
- Have thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures.
- Previous front desk supervisory or leadership experience in a hotel environment.
- Strong guest‑service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working with PEP systems.
- Ability to lead by example, multitask, and remain professional under pressure.
