Benefits and Leave Specialist
Campers Inn RV is looking for a Benefits and Leave Specialist role that supports the day‑to‑day administration of the Campers Inn RV employee benefits and leave programs, ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company policies. This position serves as a key point of contact for employees and vendors and plays an important role in educating employees, managing leave cases, and supporting benefits operations.
This role is located in Jacksonville, FL.

Essential Job FunctionsThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Benefits Administration- Facilitate employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits
- Support open enrollment, new hire onboarding, life event changes, and terminations
- Serve as a primary employee contact for benefits questions and issue resolution
- Coordinate with benefits vendors, brokers, and payroll to ensure accurate enrollments and deductions
- Maintain benefits data in HRIS and ensure records are accurate and up to date
- Administer employee leaves of absence including FMLA, ADA, state leaves, military, and company‑provided leaves
- Track leave usage, documentation, and return‑to‑work status
- Partner with employees and managers to explain leave options, timelines, and expectations
- Completes injury reporting, claim tracking, and absence management for workers compensation claims.
- Ensure benefit and leave practices comply with applicable federal, state and local laws as well as company policies
- Conduct audits and produces routine and ad hoc reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, employee communication, and efficiency
- Support benefits communications, guides, and training materials
- 2-year degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2–4 years of benefits and leave administration experience
