Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager
DESCRIPTION
The Human Resource Investigator is responsible for conducting investigations in compliance with applicable laws, rules, and policies. With minimal supervision, the Human Resource Investigator’s primary responsibility is to research and resolve complex to critical investigations; prioritizes assigned caseload and independently determines investigative plans and strategies. This position involves working on assignments of an extremely sensitive and confidential nature associated with investigations, grievances, corrective actions, and separations.
RESPONSIBILITIESComplex Investigations: Analyzes initial complex allegation reports and plans the investigation strategy with a focus on mitigating risk by ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and processes. Interviews associates, witnesses, and other parties to gather, verify, and/or corroborate evidence. Analyzes and interprets information, documentation, and evidence to make informed determinations about allegations resulting in the timely closure of investigations. Escalates critical investigations as appropriate.
Investigation Management: Utilizes case management to prioritize and bring investigations to completion within established service level agreements. Research and/or review legal and regulatory information, company policies, processes, and standards, to learn relevant information and incorporate it into investigative work. Uses appropriate tools and technology to thoroughly evaluate and understand the evidence and its significance to an investigation. Stays apprised of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related business lines.
Investigation Documentation and Analysis: Thoroughly documents each component and chronology of the investigation in written reports within the case management tool. Ensures these reports are well‑written, accurate, concise, thorough, and timely. Troubleshoots hot spots and analyzes outcomes of investigations and grievances to determine root cause and assist HR and the business with addressing drivers and limiting risk.

Collaboration:
Collaborates with all levels of Human Resources and Legal to ensure comprehensive and compliant investigative plans and strategies for sound results. Proactively communicates to all applicable parties and documents the communications cadence throughout the investigation.
Positive Employee Relations: Fosters a culture of positive employee relations by proactively addressing potential issues, promoting a collaborative workplace through transparent and honest communications, and dealing with issues in the most appropriate way when they arise.
Compliance Training: Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for new hires, current employees, and managers focused on compliance policies and procedures.
Policy Development: Contribute to the development and revision HR policies that support compliance, align with Company standards, and support HR topics at the operational business level.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and improvement of employment practices processes and programs to support a culture of compliance, continuous improvement, and scalability for future growth.
Compliance Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of changes to employment legislation and recommend changes to support compliance and business needs.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualifications
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's:
Auditing, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Business, or related field. - Four to Seven (4‑7) years of work‑related human resources and employee relations experience with multistate experience required, international experience preferred.
