Human Resources Director
Salary: $150,000 - $160,000

The HR Director will serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, leading all aspects of the human resources function in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for building and optimizing HR infrastructure, strengthening employee engagement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving talent strategy to support organizational growth and operational excellence.
This leader will oversee both plant and corporate HR operations while fostering a culture rooted in accountability, performance, and safety.
Core Responsibilities Strategic Leadership- Advise executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy
- Develop and execute HR initiatives aligned with business growth objectives
- Drive succession planning and leadership development efforts
- Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Promote a high-performance, safety-focused culture
- Champion engagement initiatives across manufacturing and corporate teams
- Oversee compensation strategy, benefits administration, and payroll oversight
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
- Implement best-in-class recruiting strategies to support workforce demands
- Utilize HRIS data and analytics to inform decision-making
- Manage and develop the HR team, ensuring operational excellence
- Direct oversight of HR staff and daily departmental operations
- Budget ownership for HR function
- Active participation in safety leadership initiatives
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Prior experience supporting a manufacturing workforce required
- Experience in organizations of approximately 200+ employees
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change
- Bachelor’s degree required
- SHRM or comparable certification preferred
