The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with a variety of administrative and operational activities across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, compliance, and HR projects. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to multiple Human Resources disciplines and offers an opportunity to develop professional skills, gain practical HR experience, and contribute to the organization's people‑focused initiatives and business objectives.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities- Assist with recruiting activities, including posting positions, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and personnel record management.
- Assist with data entry and updates in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Assist with training coordination, including scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and preparing materials.
- Conduct research and gather information for HR projects and process improvements.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other HR‑related documents.
- Support compliance efforts by maintaining confidential records and assisting with audits as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
- Respond to routine employee inquiries and direct questions to appropriate HR team members.
- Assist with updating HR policies, procedures, and employee communications as needed.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Junior, Senior, or graduate-level student preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
