Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Specialized experience performing the following duties:
Advice Federal service administering or advising on Federal Employee Compensation Act (FECA) or workers' compensation programs. - Specialized experience must demonstrate knowledge of federal workers' compensation laws, regulations, and policies; interpreting and applying FECA guidance; providing technical advice to management and employees; analyzing and resolving complex injury compensation cases; administering claims and return-to-work processes; and developing recommendations to ensure program compliance and effectiveness.
- Strong analytical, communication, and program management skills are required..
