OPS Government Operations Consultant I is an entry-level position within the Employee Resources Office at the Florida Department of Health in Duval County, reporting to the Employee Resources Director. The role supports employee training programs, workforce development initiatives, volunteer and intern services, and provides administrative support including PHWI program coordination, TRAIN Florida account management, recruitment outreach, and office support functions. This is a grant-funded, Monday-Friday in-office and field work position.
Key qualifications:- Knowledge of workforce development concepts, employee engagement strategies, and basic human resource support functions
- Knowledge of onboarding processes, training coordination practices, and public health workforce integration
- Professionalism, integrity, flexibility, teamwork, strong computer skills, and positive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with Employee Resources team
- Willingness to learn and grow, and availability to work Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
