  • Design custom hardware solutions aligned to prospects' unique warehouse and manufacturing environments.
  • Configure and provision demonstration equipment, including AIDC hardware, label printers, and Telnet software (Velocity, Stay Linked).
  • Act as the technical voice throughout the sales cycle, translating customer requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Hardware Sales team to develop compelling proposals and respond to RFPs with technical expertise.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing guidance on product configuration, integration, and implementation feasibility.
  • Conduct requirements gathering, business analysis, and warehouse environment assessments.
  • Recommend optimal equipment configurations based on customer needs and use cases.
Implementation Support
  • Provide technical assistance during implementations for direct customers and RF‑SMART Reseller/Implementation Partners.
  • Deliver pre‑ and post‑sales technical support to ensure customer success.
  • Coordinate with partners to establish clear demonstration expectations and deployment strategies.
Hardware Operations
  • Manage the demo device pool for the Hardware team.
  • Configure and administer AIDC hardware and label printers.
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of RF‑SMART products, staying current on new features and capabilities.
What You Bring :

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years providing technical pre‑sales support and solutions in a B2B environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with AIDC barcoding hardware (Honeywell, Zebra, Datalogic).
  • Deep knowledge of WMS and wireless data collection solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously across customers and partners.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Self‑directed work style with comfort working independently and on customer sites.
  • Availability for occasional interstate/international travel (less than 25%).
Bonus Points For
  • Extensive warehouse and manufacturing operations experience.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) software expertise.
  • Wireless networking knowledge, including site surveys and installation (Cisco, Aruba).
  • Experience with ERP platforms (Dynamics AX, Net Suite, Oracle Cloud, JDE).
What Sets You Apart :
  • Thrives at the intersection of technical expertise and customer engagement.
  • Can walk into a warehouse, understand the operation, and quickly identify where technology creates value.
  • Loves the "aha moment" when a customer sees how your solution transforms their workflow.
  • Has genuine curiosity and a strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
  • Balances multiple priorities without losing sight of quality or customer experience.
