Sr Data Analyst

Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to drive data‑informed decision making across the organization. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to business leaders-owning complex analyses, building scalable reporting solutions, and turning data into clear, actionable insights.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across functions to define metrics, uncover trends, and influence business outcomes, while also helping to elevate analytics best practices and mentor junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead complex data analysis and exploratory analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities

+ Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches and clear insights

+ Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks for executive and operational audiences

+ Partner with stakeholders to define metrics, business logic, and data requirements

+ Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets

+ Validate data quality and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting

+ Communicate insights through compelling visualizations and narratives tailored to non‑technical audiences

+ Mentor and review work from junior or mid‑level analysts

+ Support ad‑hoc analyses, forecasting, and strategic initiatives as needed

Requirements

Required Qualifications

+ 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related role

+ Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis

+ Strong experience with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)

+ Solid understanding of data modeling, metrics design, and analytics best practices

+ Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple data sources

+ Proven ability to influence decisions through data storytelling and stakeholder engagement

+ Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

+

Experience with Python or R for analysis and automation

+ Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift, Azure, etc.)

+ Experience in product, finance, operations, or go‑to‑market analytics

+ Exposure to experimentation, forecasting, or statistical modeling

+ Prior experience mentoring analysts or leading analytics initiatives
