• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Create migration playbooks, technical documentation, and user guides. Stay updated on BI trends and Power BI enhancements. Recommend improvements to reporting processes and architecture for long-term scalability. Define and document the end-to-end migration strategy for transitioning Tableau and Cognos reports to Power BI. Assess existing BI landscape and identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
  
  Design scalable and secure Power BI architecture, including datasets, dataflows, gateways, and work spaces. Establish best practices for data modeling, performance optimization, and governance.

• Advanced proficiency in IBM Cognos Analytics (11.x):
  Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Event Studio, Framework Manager, Dynamic Cubes, Transformer.
• Expertise in designing complex dashboards, visualizations, multidimensional reports, and report bursting.
• Skilled in migrating legacy BI solutions (Series 6 Cognos 8/10/11) and converting reports to Power BI including logic conversion and visualization redesign.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI architecture, including datasets, dataflows, gateways, and workspace management.
• Strong experience in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas), relational modeling, and building data warehouse layers.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data mapping, data transformation, and documenting end-to-end data flows.
• Ability to perform deep data profiling, validation, cleansing, and quality checks.
• Expertise in working with SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, ODS, Cognos Content Store.
• Good to have skills implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and managing user roles. Understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance standards. Expertise in star schema, snowflake schema, and semantic modeling for BI solutions.
