Overview
Job Skills / Requirements. We’re looking for a self-directed IT professional to serve as our on-site technology operations lead supporting nationwide operations from our Jacksonville headquarters. You’ll be the sole IT resource managing technology deployments and administration for several hundred users, managers, and executives across the United States, partnering with our managed service provider while taking ownership of hardware lifecycle management, application administration, and day-to-day IT operations.
This is a build-and-improve role – you’ll be implementing IT governance processes, establishing standards where informal practices currently exist, and creating scalable systems for asset management, procurement, and operational efficiency. Manage complete hardware lifecycle for laptops, mobile devices, and tablets deployed to managers and executives across 30+ locations
Coordinate shipping/receiving operations for device deployments, replacements, and returns to field offices nationwide
Administer user management, licensing, and permissions across multiple SaaS platforms including M365, TEAM Software (Work Wave ERP), Samsara, Asset Tiger, Salesforce, Breach Secure Now, MaaS
360, and other business applicationsImplement comprehensive asset tracking using across all IT equipment
Coordinate tier 2/3 support escalations with our MSP who manages M365 and provides remote helpdesk services
Handle IT procurement, vendor relationship management, and equipment logistics
Provide hands-on support for Jacksonville headquarters including printer maintenance and conference room AV setup
Establish and document IT policies, standard operating procedures, and workflows to improve organizational efficiency and resilience
Partner with Director of Security Engineering on infrastructure planning and technology projects
3-5 years hands-on IT support or systems administration experience
Strong understanding of Windows environments and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Demonstrated experience managing hardware assets at scale, ideally across multiple locations
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and self-manage priorities
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and documentation discipline
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with MSP partners, vendors, and end-users
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification
Microsoft 365 certification or demonstrated M365 administration experience
Experience with SaaS application administration (user provisioning, licensing, access management)
Background working with MSPs or in co-managed IT environments
Mobile device management experience (MaaS
360, Intune, or similar MDM platforms)Asset management system experience (inventory tracking, lifecycle planning)
Familiarity with ERP systems, fleet management platforms, or security industry tools
Basic cybersecurity awareness and IT hygiene best practices
