Job Responsibilities:

• Create applicable Standard Operating Procedures as required.
• Design network architectures per applicable DoD guidance.
• Coordinate and document changes to network configuration and topology.
• Install and maintain software and hardware, control current versions and future releases of applications software, and document the physical configuration of information systems.
• Optimize the functionality of networks and systems, diagnose and recover failed systems.
• Install, configure, test, and implement vendor-supplied modifications to existing systems software while applying and implementing applicable federal network security standards.
• Advise and assist customers; troubleshoot complex problems; and provide support to minimize interruptions in critical business activities.
• Design, engineer, and install network infrastructure; engineer and implement equipment reallocations; provide PC and hardware maintenance; provide interim system communications assistance.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in Information Technology or related areas.
• Experience maintaining and securing supported operating systems.
• Obtain and maintain MCSA certification within the first 6 months of reporting.
• Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or CISSP certification.
• Proficiency with MS Visio, ACAS scanning software, Wireshark, VMware ESX 5.5/6.0, and other listed tools and systems.
• Knowledge of DoD security standards and certifications such as IAT Level II, GSEC, Security+, etc.
• Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
