Reports To: Director of Service Operations
OverviewPanda Technology is hiring a Level 1 Field Technician to provide on-site IT support at client locations in the Miami area. This role is suited for a hands‑on, tech‑savvy individual who enjoys being in the field and solving problems face‑to‑face.
Responsibilities- Visit client sites to install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and networking equipment
- Set up workstations, printers, and other peripherals
- Coordinate with remote support for escalations
- Document all work and customer interactions
- Ensure timely and professional delivery of services
- 1+ year of IT experience in a customer‑facing role
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and hardware
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours, if needed
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Participate in on‑call rotations to provide after‑hours support as needed
- Previous experience supporting multi‑site clients
- Familiarity with structured cabling, basic switching, and AV systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification
