Overview
The Oracle Cloud System Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, security, monitoring, and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications across Finance, Projects, Procurement, Supply Chain, HCM, and EPM. This role ensures the availability, security, integrity, and optimal performance of enterprise Oracle SaaS environments that support critical business operations. The administrator partners closely with functional analysts, integration teams, security, business users, and third‑party providers to manage system health, access, releases, integrations, and governance while supporting issue resolution, compliance, and continuous service improvement.
Job Responsibilities- Administer Oracle Fusion Cloud environments (Production, Test, Development), including refreshes, clones, and lifecycle management
- Manage application configurations including profile options, lookups, personalizations, parameters, and extensions
- Administer Oracle ESS jobs, workflows, and reporting tools such as BI Publisher and OTBI
- Plan and communicate system outages, quarterly updates, and environment refresh activities
- Provision and maintain user accounts, roles, privileges, and data access controls
- Maintain role‑based security, segregation‑of‑duties (SOD), and identity management integrations
- Monitor system availability and performance and resolve issues through Oracle Support and AMS partners
- Provide Levels 2‑3 operational and application support for Oracle Fusion Cloud
- Coordinate quarterly Oracle Cloud releases including pre/post‑update validation and regression testing
- Plan and execute instance refresh and post‑clone procedures
- Administer Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and support integrations and data flows
- Monitor scheduled jobs, interfaces, and integrations to ensure successful execution
- Support audits, compliance, SaaS licensing governance, and internal controls
- Maintain system documentation, change records, and configuration standards
- Identify and implement system, process, and performance improvements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, AMS partners, and third‑party vendors
- Participate in on‑call or after‑hours support as required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud applications
- Experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) or Design‑Build / EPC organizations (Preferred)
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion applications
- Experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (Finance, Projects, HCM, SCM, or related modules)
- Knowledge of Fusion Cloud security roles, data access, and SOD compliance
- Experience with Oracle quarterly update processes and release management
- Experience with administration of Oracle ESS jobs, reporting tools (BIP/OTBI), and workflow
- Understanding of SaaS integrations, Oracle PaaS, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and scheduling/supporting processes
- Strong troubleshooting, support, documentation, cross‑team collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience managing Oracle Cloud quarterly release cycles, including regression testing, impact assessments, and coordination with functional and technical teams
- Experience working with Application Managed Services (AMS) partners and ensuring SLA‑driven delivery, system performance, and continuous improvement
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and/or Boomi, and understanding of data flows across ERP, PPM, SCM, and EPM ecosystems
- Familiarity with governance frameworks for configuration management, change control, and release readiness
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Fusion architecture, configurations, and coexistence across modules (Financials, PPM, Procurement, HCM)
- Skilled in translating complex business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions and communicating effectively with executives and end users
- Excellent diagnostic and decision‑making skills to address production issues, performance, and optimization
