The Global Commercial Office (GCO) Data Analytics & AI group is a growing team of experts on Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML), and Automation. We are a part of the GCO IT group with a focus on building and maturing an ecosystem that provides analytics intelligence and actionable insights. We do this through providing services from consultation to execution of projects, harnessing the power of data, advanced analytics, and AI/ML, to drive business value for our stakeholders across Commercial Operations, Sales Enablement, Pricing & Contracting, Training & Events and Service & Repair.

The Senior IT Data Architect role is responsible for delivering data products aligned with business capability needs and enterprise standards. This role works with other Data Architects, Business Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Technical Architects, and external service providers to ensure data and information models and technologies align with stated architecture strategies and Medtronic’s standards and delivery capabilities. In a delivery capacity, this role will work with Business Analysts to review and complete business capability needs, definitions and requirements, data analysis, data modeling, technical specification writing, and working with development organizations to ensure designs are delivered.

In this role, you will serve as a delivery team member and is responsible to review new initiatives, providing architecture guidance and decisions regarding the viability of data flows and models, components to design and ope rationalise the landscape, and participate as required within the Architecture Review Board to establish and maintain standards.
