Position: SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant I

Position Summary

The SAP EWM Consultant will design, configure, and optimize SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. The role involves gathering requirements, developing functional specifications, configuring modules, performing functional testing, creating documentation and training materials, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and supporting clients through testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze warehouse management requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Configure and customize SAP EWM modules to meet client needs and align with business processes.
  • Perform functional testing, resolve defects, and validate end‑to‑end EWM functionality.
  • Develop user guides, configuration documentation, and training materials.
  • Deliver end‑user and client training on SAP EWM processes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, and functional teams to ensure seamless integration with ECC, S/4

    HANA, and related modules.
  • Provide timely support for EWM issues related to configuration, data, and system behavior.
  • Partner with technical teams on system integration, data migration, and interface troubleshooting.
  • Stay current on SAP EWM enhancements, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within warehouse operations.
  • Mentor associate‑level team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Travel up to 50% to support project activities, testing, and go‑live events.
  • Adhere to all certified processes and information security standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • SAP EWM certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
  • 2+ years of SAP EWM experience, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
  • Hands‑on experience configuring and customizing SAP EWM functionalities.
  • Experience conducting functional testing and supporting QA activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and work collaboratively across teams.
  • U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense or other federal agencies.
  • Familiarity with Service Now.
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate or ASAP methodologies.
  • Experience integrating EWM with ECC, S/4

    HANA, or other SAP modules.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and industry‑specific requirements.
  • Experience supporting data migration, interface development, or system integration activities.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies or operational excellence initiatives.
Compensation

In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $85,816-$107,269 annually
. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
