OverviewAs a Site Reliability Engineer within the End User Computing team, you will ensure the security, stability, and performance of corporate and Bring Your Own (BYO) mobile devices. You will support a diverse device ecosystem—including corporate‑managed Apple devices (iPhones, iPads, Mac Books) and BYO Apple and Android phones and tablets. Acting as a senior escalation point, you will manage complex incidents, enhance platform stability through observability, and continuously improve operational processes.
You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional technology teams to plan and execute well‑governed, low‑risk changes across mobile and macOS platforms and provide senior‑level coverage for the Americas and early APAC regions as part of a global follow‑the‑sun support model.
- Lead Level 3 incident response for mobile & mac production platform issues, investigate to resolution, document and share knowledge with lower teams, and coordinate with engineering, product management, and vendor support teams.
- Participate in post‑mortem problem exercises for major incidents.
- Plan and implement changes with engineering and product teams in an Agile format, completing the ITIL change process and ensuring safe implementation.
- Help implement ongoing enhancements, including the development of pipelined configuration deliveries.
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions with Graph APIs (Python, Power Shell, or Power Platform) and other platforms to proactively identify issues and enable self‑heal or automated responses.
- Ensure compliance with the Disaster Recovery framework, participate in routine testing, provide technical expertise for testing plans, and automate plans via Ansible, APIs, or other means.
- Proven experience engineering or advanced platform support for managed Apple devices (macOS and mobile) using MDM solutions like JAMF or Intune.
- Strong understanding and technical troubleshooting skills with Apple macOS.
- Experience in end‑user support, writing clear documentation for end‑users and frontline teams, leading incident response, and resolving major platform issues.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP handshake behavior, and PAC files.
- Familiarity with automation scripting, tooling, and concepts (APIs, Python, Ansible).
- Experience with Apple SSO, Microsoft Entra and authentication concepts including Conditional Access.
- Platform support experience in large enterprise organizations or across global locations.
- Experience working in Service Now or a similar platform for incident, request, and change management.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering concepts and a willingness to drive adoption of SRE practices.

Salary range for this position in New York City is $78,000 to $120,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other remuneration.
