Principal IT Business System Analyst

Helps client areas achieve their objectives by serving as a resource across functional boundaries and business areas in the analysis of business and user needs with the application of technology solutions. Leads multi‑year initiatives and provides guidance to other BSAs on user stories, business requirements and system requirements to ensure all outputs align with business needs and requirements.

• Demonstrated experience of Information Technology fields, systems, architecture, tools and processes that support business initiatives. Experience in system integrations and data/file transmissions.
• Ability to problem‑solve and quickly identify system integration/migration issues and provide alternative solutions to minimize business impacts; articulate technical information and solutions in simple clear communication for business areas.
• Be viewed in the organization as a subject‑matter expert for system and business process integration.
• Extensive working knowledge of healthcare industry, including sales, enrollment and billing processes with internal and external vendor carriers.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various market segments and their different impacts on business processes and technical solutions.
• Ability to work with challenging clients and provide effective communication for successful technical solutioning.
• Effective mentoring, team building, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills across all levels of leadership with business and IT teams.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and ability to facilitate adoption of changing priorities.
• Exceptional leadership skills demonstrated through project or technical leadership experience including knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness.

• 8+ years related work experience in IT business analyst roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Information Technology fields, systems, architecture, tools and processes that support business initiatives.
• Ability to articulate technical information and solutions in simple clear communication for business areas.
• Recognition as a subject‑matter expert for system and business process integration.
• Extensive working knowledge of the healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of various market segments and their different impacts on business processes and technical solutions.
• Implementation of overall IT strategy in assigned projects or initiatives.
• Ability to work with challenging clients and provide effective communication for successful technical solutioning.
• Effective team building, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills across all levels of leadership with business and IT teams.
• Experience with internal and external system integrations and data/file transmissions.
