Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Mid
-Level Support Equipment Technician to support the USN P-8 program located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a long term assignment to Keflavik, Iceland subject to business conditions and individual performance. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international relocation will be provided.

• Assist the Lead Technician as needed in daily accomplishments and tasking
• Maintain a limited number of systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components
• Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components
• Conduct routine functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment
• Perform a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents
• Document maintenance and inspection actions as required
• Create and maintain maintenance, calibration and inventory tracking systems
• At the sole discretion of leadership, be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation
• Work under general supervision and with minimal direction

• 3+ years  experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment
• Ability to work and support a 24/7 on-call rotation environment
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice; as much as 10% of the time

• Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• General automotive servicing experience with an electrical, hydraulic, and internal combustion engine background

  Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country
• Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
• Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
• Relocation:
  Domestic relocation is not authorized for this position. Candidate will be located in Jacksonville, FL, before they leave for their international assignment to Keflavik, Iceland.

Salary: 68,000 - 92,000 (General guideline; based on candidate experience and qualifications)
