FIS powers the technology behind $10 trillion in daily transactions — and we're building a social media presence that matches that scale. We're hiring a Social Media Specialist who can think like a content strategist and execute like a platform-native creator. This role reports to our Social Media Director and requires a deep understanding of a complex, global financial technology business to translate it into compelling, performance‑driven social media content across Linked In, Instagram, X, and Facebook.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing:
- Produce high‑quality social media content daily across Linked In, Instagram, X and Facebook — original copy, design, short‑form video, and multimedia.
- Create content natively for each platform, understanding its language and algorithm.
- Align every post with a broader content strategy, building editorial calendars that serve brand goals and platform algorithms.
- Develop fluency in FIS’s domains (payments, banking, capital markets, enterprise technology) to create credible B2B content.
- Track social media analytics and engagement metrics, identify drivers of performance, and use data to continuously improve creative output.
- Monitor, respond to, and spark engagement across all FIS social channels, representing the brand with intelligence and personality in comments, threads, and real‑time moments.
- 3–5 years of social media content creation experience with a portfolio demonstrating creative range and platform fluency (copy, visual, video).
- Intellectual curiosity to learn complex B2B business quickly and editorial judgment to distill it for sophisticated audiences.
- Sharp copywriting and visual storytelling instincts that differentiate earning attention from filling a calendar.
- Proficiency with social media management platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics, and the ability to interpret metrics into actionable insights.
- Bias toward action: manage multiple work streams, produce at speed, and bring ideas proactively.
- Experience creating social media content for B2B, Fortune 500, or financial services brands.
- Video production and editing skills.
- Fluency with AI‑powered content creation tools.
- Working knowledge of financial services, payments, fintech, or banking.
