We are looking for a candidate who will be part of the Architecture team within EY Client Technology’s Technology Strategy and Architecture (TS&A) function. The candidate will be responsible for defining and delivering architectures and designs for business‑critical global products and platforms, hosted in a variety of infrastructure/environments, considering reusability, scalability and reliability in alignment with EY’s mission and strategy.

• Build relationships across the business to understand requirements, strategy, and help build product/platform roadmaps, demonstrating architectural leadership to translate business requirements into architecture blueprints and innovative design.
• Own the overall technology, architecture and design landscape of the product/platform from solutioning to delivery to adoption and sale phases.
• Potentially lead a team of architects in a portfolio or large product, setting overall technology and architecture direction and overseeing end‑to‑end delivery, while providing constant architecture governance and guidance.
• Solve complex problems where solutions may not exist, ideating new solutions, conducting technical feasibility and buy/build analysis, vendor evaluations, proofs of concept, and presenting options to the business with recommendations.
• Work closely with multi‑disciplinary teams (e.g., engineering, platform, infosec) to deliver envisioned architectures and designs using optimized delivery approaches, compliant with enterprise standards, practices, policies and guidelines.
• Provide leadership in product delivery to build and consume reusable functional and technical assets, identifying, defining and implementing reusable assets and standards.
• Support product and project managers in building plans, forecasts, estimations and costs for new and existing products/platforms, balancing cost, risk and quality.
• Coach, mentor and support development teams during the delivery phase across the ecosystem, frameworks and platforms, ensuring artifacts comply with envisioned architecture and design, expected quality, recommended standards/practices, with code reviews and architecture/design/quality reviews.
• Contribute to architecture and development standards/guidelines to promote optimization and consistency.
• Work across multiple projects with varied stakeholders, setting architectural direction, building consensus, mediating conflicts and providing technical leadership and advisory services to the business.
• Show good interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a leading member of global, distributed teams that deliver quality services and solutions.
• Establish lasting relationships across business, IT and vendors/industry analysts to maintain insight into enterprise and industry trends, understanding emerging technologies and encouraging their importance through mentoring, hackathons, communities and other activities.

• Led and governed a global team of solution and technical architects, driving the technology and architecture landscape of large and complex portfolios, achieving success in implementation and adoption.
• Architecture leadership skills with advanced understanding and a proven track record in a complex, large‑scale, global product/platform ecosystem across the entire lifecycle from planning to delivery to support/operations and adoption.
• Hands‑on deep experience in one or more specializations of solution and technical architecture (application, infrastructure/cloud, integration, data, security) with successful delivery of functional and non‑functional aspects of a product/platform.
• Expert‑level skills in defining, designing and developing distributed and scalable products and platforms, using reusable domain‑specific composable services on containers on multi‑platform/hybrid clouds (Microsoft Azure preferred).
