Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Pragma Edge is looking for a Gen AI Practice Lead to drive the growth of its Generative AI offerings across consulting, solutioning, presales, and product innovation. The role will lead client-facing AI engagements, support RFPs and proposals, create compelling demos, and contribute to the evolution of Pragma Edge’s internal AI product portfolio, including IANN and IBM watsonx-based solutions.

This position requires a blend of business development, solution architecture, product thinking, and delivery leadership. The ideal candidate will work closely with IBM, client stakeholders, internal engineering teams, and cross-functional business leaders to shape AI opportunities into scalable services and products.

• Lead the Gen AI practice strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market initiatives for Pragma Edge’s AI and automation offerings.
• Own presales activities including discovery calls, solution workshops, capability presentations, and executive-level client discussions.
• Drive responses for RFPs, RFIs, proposals, statements of work, and effort estimations for Gen AI opportunities.
• Build tailored AI solution narratives and value propositions aligned to client business outcomes and operational transformation goals.
• Design and present high-impact demos, proof of concepts, and prototype solutions using IBM watsonx and related AI technologies.
• Partner with IBM teams, client partners, and internal stakeholders to position Pragma Edge’s AI capabilities in strategic pursuits.
• Contribute to product development and enhancement of Pragma Edge internal AI platforms, especially IANN, including use cases around onboarding automation, anomaly detection, transaction intelligence, and self-service operations.
• Work with product, engineering, and delivery teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and accelerate AI solution development.
• Provide leadership on AI use case identification, architecture guidance, implementation planning, and responsible AI adoption.
• Mentor internal teams on Gen AI trends, solution patterns, reusable assets, and best practices for enterprise AI adoption.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 10+ years of overall experience with at least 4+ years in AI, ML, or Generative AI consulting, architecture, or practice leadership.
• Strong experience in presales, proposal development, RFP responses, and client solutioning for enterprise technology services.
• Hands-on or solution-level experience with IBM watsonx, including enterprise AI use cases, model development workflows, or AI platform adoption.
• Proven ability to build demos, proof of concepts, and client-facing presentations for AI-led transformation programs.
• Experience working with North American clients and collaborating with distributed offshore and onshore teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across IBM teams, client partners, business users, and technical delivery teams.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

• Experience with AI products or platforms related to B2B integration, MFT, enterprise automation, or operational intelligence.
• Familiarity with IANN-like use cases such as trading partner onboarding, anomaly detection, SLA monitoring, system observability, and AI-driven support automation.
• Exposure to AI governance, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI frameworks such as watsonx.governance.
• Knowledge of LLM application patterns such as RAG, agents, NLP workflows, and enterprise AI orchestration.
• Experience supporting IBM ecosystem opportunities or joint go-to-market motions is a plus.
