A Day in the Life

This role will require 10% travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate assigned IT projects or project work streams under the direction of a senior project manager or program lead.
  • Support project execution across the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and close‑out activities.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, action logs, and documentation.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables; escalates risks and issues as needed.
  • Maintain project budgets, resource coordination, and vendor coordination.
  • Prepare status reports, meeting materials, and project communications.
  • Facilitate project meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Ensure compliance with Medtronic IT standards, quality system procedures, and project governance processes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional team members to support successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 0+ years of experience with an advanced degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Medtronic experience
  • Experience supporting IT projects in a matrixed organization
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Excel)
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification (or interest in pursuing) is a plus

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Competitive salary range for U.S. locations (USD): $83,200.00 – $.
