As a Dev Ops Engineer V, you will lead the design, implementation, manage, support and operation of cloud-native infrastructure and container orchestration platforms, with a primary focus on Kubernetes and AWS EKS.This role is responsible for driving platform reliability, scalability, automation, and operational excellence across critical SaaS and cloud-based workloads.

You will work closely with Cloud Architecture, Security, and Engineering teams to modernize infrastructure, implement best practices, and enable application teams through self-service and platform capabilities.

You will function as a senior technical leader, contributing to architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and operational standards.

Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
* 7+ years of progressive experience in cloud, Dev Ops, or platform engineering roles
* Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes including production cluster operations
* Experience with container technologies such as Docker
* Deep experience with AWS, including Amazon EKS
* Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Cloud Formation)
* Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions)
* Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar)
* Strong scripting and automation experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
* Experience with Git-based workflows and version control best practices
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
* Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis experience
* Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
** Preferred:
*** AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Dev Ops Engineer, or Kubernetes-specific certifications such as CKA/CKAD)
* Experience implementing security best practices for Kubernetes (RBAC, network policies, secrets management)
* Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
* Experience with multi-cluster or hybrid Kubernetes environments
