Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer / Data Architect with strong expertise in Snowflake, Oracle SQL, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering frameworks. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable data architectures, build high-performance ELT/ETL pipelines, and enable enterprise-wide analytics and reporting solutions.
This role requires deep technical proficiency in data warehousing, cloud ecosystems, data governance, and collaboration with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement enterprise-scale data architectures and integration strategies.
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models including star and snowflake schemas.
Build, optimize, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
Work extensively with Snowflake, Oracle SQL, and cloud-based data platforms.
Design and manage data lakes, warehouses, and data marts to support analytics and reporting.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance with standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize SQL queries, database performance, and data processing workflows.
Implement orchestration and workflow automation using tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar technologies.
Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
5 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Software Engineering.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
Expert-level SQL skills with extensive experience in Oracle SQL.
Hands-on expertise with Snowflake and modern cloud data warehouses.
Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with orchestration and streaming tools such as Apache Kafka, Airflow, and dbt.
Knowledge of data governance, security frameworks, and access control mechanisms.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
