Sr Network Administrator

Description

We are seeking a Senior Network Administrator to lead the design, implementation, support, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure. This role will be responsible for maintaining a secure, highly available, and scalable network environment across multiple locations while serving as a technical escalation point for complex networking issues.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, routing, switching, wireless networks, and network security technologies.

Responsibilities

+ Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure

+ Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless solutions

+ Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity planning initiatives

+ Troubleshoot complex connectivity, performance, and security issues

+ Manage VPN, SD-WAN, and remote access technologies

+ Perform network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements

+ Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures

+ Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams to ensure network reliability and compliance

+ Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts

+ Serve as a senior escalation resource and mentor junior administrators

Requirements

Required Qualifications

+ 5+ years of experience administering enterprise network environments

+ Strong experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies

+ Deep understanding of:

+ TCP/IP

+ DNS

+ DHCP

+ BGP

+ OSPF

+ VLANs

+ VPNs

+ Routing and Switching

+ Experience managing firewalls and network security policies

+ Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

+ Experience supporting highly available and redundant network environments

+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

+

Experience with cloud networking in Azure or AWS

+ Exposure to SD-WAN technologies

+

Experience with network automation and scripting (Power Shell, Python, Ansible)

+ Industry certifications such as:

+ CCNA

+ CCNP

+ Network+

+ PCNSE

+ NSE

+ Aruba Certifications
