NTT DATA BCU, Inc. is part of the BCGE Union and offers a Business Analyst (BIR) - Temporary FTR - Telework role based in Burnaby, British Columbia.
Purpose of PositionThe Business Analyst (BIR) works under the direction of the Service Delivery Unit Manager/Director in support of service operations and project delivery to enhance and maintain the customer’s experience.
Accountabilities- Gathers and provides requirements and conducts testing to ensure quality assurance of the end-product. Reviews and maintains application test plans.
- Monitors system metrics and checklists, generates and analyzes reports related to SLAs, project requests, and operational performance.
- Develops monthly customer presentations using various reports and metrics.
- Conducts assessments to determine if negotiated baselines have been met, not met, or exceeded. Undertakes analysis to determine factors that may have affected performance and the impacts on service levels.
- Participates in the development and documentation of systems standards, configuration standards and operational processes.
- Coordinates knowledge creation and updates, develops and maintains knowledge templates, publishes knowledge on appropriate knowledge base, and ensures dissemination to appropriate staff.
- Drafts Technical Information Bulletins for service delivery units and provides information sessions as required.
- Analyzes problem trends and recommends resolution procedures. Works with other service delivery units in resolving problems.
- Researches technical information and hardware/software capabilities to recommend improvements.
- Computer Information Systems Degree
- 2 years of Business Analyst experience
- 1 year Project Management experience preferred
- Related education/certification/qualifications or equivalent in experience/training
- No financial responsibility

Salary/Rate (2026): 44.11/HR CAD
