We are seeking an experienced Service Now Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements and solution design for high-impact federal initiatives, partnering closely with government stakeholders to deliver scalable, mission-driven Service Now solutions.

Job Functions
  • Lead the requirements lifecycle for complex Service Now initiatives—partnering with government stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate functional and technical needs.
  • Translate strategic business goals into scalable, compliant Service Now solutions that align with federal standards and agency mission priorities.
  • Own the design and documentation of end-to-end business processes, workflows, functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Guide system and user acceptance testing, ensuring that solutions are thoroughly validated and meet quality benchmarks.
  • Act as the primary bridge between business and technical teams—reviewing solution design, ensuring alignment with requirements, and managing scope changes.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of federal operations and Service Now platform capabilities to drive process improvements and solution optimization.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, sprint planning, and executive-level presentations to communicate system capabilities and progress clearly and effectively.
Skill and Experience
  • Deep understanding of core Service Now modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Sec Ops) within federal implementations.
  • Skilled at gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business and technical requirements in government environments.
  • Experience designing and improving workflows and processes to support federal agency missions and mandates.
  • Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum principles as applied in federal delivery, including experience with hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments.
  • Familiar with FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, and other federal compliance frameworks that impact Service Now deployments.
  • Proven ability to engage with CORs, PMs, Product Owners, and federal end-users to align goals, manage expectations, and build consensus.
  • Proficient in creating test scripts, leading UAT, and validating Service Now functionality against agency requirements.
  • Able to translate platform capabilities into business value for both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experienced in producing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and training materials for federal audiences.
  • Comfortable leading requirements workshops, status meetings, and executive-level briefings in a government setting.
  • Understands the importance of data handling, role-based access controls, and operational security in federal systems.
  • Works effectively within multi-vendor, cross-functional teams in high-stakes government delivery environments.
  • Driven to identify inefficiencies and recommend process and platform optimizations for mission outcomes.
  • Experienced with Jira, Confluence, Service Now Studio, and federal collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint).
Requirements
  • US Citizen;
    Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience, preferably in a government or federal consulting environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with Service Now, including familiarity with common modules and functionality.
  • Proficiency in developing business process documentation using Microsoft Visio or similar tools.
  • Experience translating business needs into detailed technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITSM best practices.
