Role Overview
The Desktop Support Technician will provide end-user support onsite in Jacksonville, FL, and work rotations on call. The technician will be responsible for repairing, testing, and maintaining computer hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
What You Will Doduties include repairing and testing PCs, laptops, and other hardware, maintaining and analyzing software, setting up and configuring hardware, and performing backup and recovery procedures. The technician will also assist with installations, configurations, and maintenance of server equipment and network systems.
Why It Might Be a FitThe ideal candidate will be comfortable with face-to-face interactions and have experience with asset management, network system administration, and technical support. The technician will work closely with the Site Leader to execute established processes and escalations.
Requirements- Ability to account for work using visual task board, Service Now Ticket System, and during regular team stand up meetings
- Experience with asset management
- Ability to setup, configure, and add all hardware
- Experience with network system administration
- Comfortable with face-to-face interactions
