IT Director
The IT Director directs all processes, operations and teams within the Information Technology department. This job determines the Information Technology needs of an organization and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of solutions to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Directs the team in successful delivery of Information Technology services for the organization’s hardware, software and network technologies.
- Manages Information Technology teams and systems to ensure that the area's technological level is up to date by overseeing the implementation of new procedures and techniques related to Information Technology.
- Oversees the selection of hardware, software and supplies needed by the team.
- Develops IT team project plans, including resourcing, schedules and budgets.
- Serves as point of accountability to business stakeholders for IT solutions/services that measurably improve business KPIs.
- Serves as a liaison and builds bridges among leadership groups within and outside of the IT field.
- Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of team.
- 5 years of experience leading technology teams for mid-large sized organizations
- Previous experience in Banking or Fintech industries
- 7+ years of experience leading highly technical teams
- Experience working on a deposits platform - preferably FIS IBS CIS, IBS Deposits, Temenos Transact, Temenos T24
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of integrated banking - deposits, payments, and loans
- University (Degree) Preferred
- 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
