IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
Project Manager III (Enterprise Voice Change & Deployment) for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC/Richmond, VA/Jacksonville, FL – Hybrid (3 days on site in a Week). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.
Pay: $60-62/hour – All Inclusive;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Change Managers Position Summary
Project coordination responsibilities relating to technology implementations, upgrades, conversions, and recovery using the Enterprise Change tools and guidelines.
- Manages/Coordinates resources within and across various lines of business and has matrix management responsibility.
- Balances soft skills, technical requirements, scheduling, milestone delivery of the technical solution.
- Defines and evaluates problems and plans effective solutions.
- Must be able to identify possible issues before they become an issue and successfully mitigate to keep the project (and personnel) on schedule.
- Must be able to succinctly present progress as well as issues, and be able to provide possible solutions as well as take constructive criticism.
- Understand stakeholder's expectations and objectives.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with management, team members and stakeholders.
- Must be able to identify changing priorities within the project and move resources to continue the most effective use of the resources as many times you are competing for their time with other concurrent projects.
- Required to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative manner.
- Maintain system of records related to inventory detail updates.
- Basic understanding of Telecom deliverables, i.e., Cisco voice technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation engagement skills including presenting to senior leaders.
- Adaptive learning capability to utilize new systems and/or processes.
- Microsoft Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note, Teams).
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong mix of technology delivery, governance/change management/project delivery role.
- Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends, based on project schedules.
- BMC Remedy Tools (Change Management)
- Service Now experience
- Network Knowledge (IP Management/DHCP Address)
