Role

The D365 Finance Solution Analyst is a core contributor for the finance aspects of our Microsoft ERP installations on a global scale. The role involves evaluating new business requirements and developing solutions and services to meet those requirements. It includes designing standardized processes and systems within the Manufacturing Systems domain and implementing those standards and best practices across platforms in a secure, effective, and scalable manner.

The analyst collaborates with Solution Analysts and other domain Solution Architects to design and implement future business systems as part of BW’s ERP Center of Excellence (CoE).

Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Analyze, research, plan, and design within the Manufacturing Systems domain to ensure business needs are met, coordinating with Architects for an integrated approach to system design.
  • Sustain design standards for the domain by reusing standard system setups and processes; evaluate modification requests with Solutions Analysts and the CoE to approve, modify, or reject changes.
  • Collaborate with external vendors/partners to optimize the technical landscape and stay informed of external changes that affect the landscape.
  • Establish and follow design processes; document designs and develop comprehensive testing procedures.
  • Assist users in testing and adopting process improvements in partnership with Business Partners and Solutions Analysts.
  • Assist with corrective actions when system issues occur as part of the Tier 3 support group.
  • Assemble documentation to support process changes and create training aids or standard operating procedures as needed.
  • Provide project support for new implementations or rollouts and support continuous process improvements.
  • Support the systems architecture team, especially during significant upgrades from software solution suppliers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • 3+ years of direct experience leading the architecture, configuration, and development for the Finance domain of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations in a multinational company.
  • Preferred experience with machine builder/OEM business processes.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Direct configuration experience with G/L, AR, AP.
  • Experience across the full ERP implementation cycle, from needs analysis through rollout and stabilization.
  • Experience leveraging and integrating ERP, Business Intelligence, and Consolidation Systems.
  • Experience in systems governance and establishing development processes and controls.
  • Experience leading or participating in robotic process automation projects is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and maintain strong relationships.
  • Certification as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance professional preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Power BI.
Compensation and Work Details
  • Salary range: $96,000 to $145,000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting and final compensation may vary based on background, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
  • Supervisory/Responsibility:
    None.
  • Work Environment:
    Standard office setting; regular full-time position with extended days and hours as needed. Regular overtime may be required.
  • Travel:
    Moderate domestic travel and occasional international travel may be required.
  • Physical Demands:
    Use of computers and standard office equipment; mental and visual attention required.
